Islami Bank Foundation to set up Cancer Hospital at Karnaphuli EPZ

Islami Bank Foundation (IBF) has organized an Exchange of Views Program with Physicians and other Delegates at Radisson Blu Chattogram Bay View at 8.00 PM on 04.07.2024.
Islami Bank Foundation Chairman Prof. Dr. Qazi Shahidul Alam graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Presided over by IBF Executive Director (Acting) Engr. Mohammad Ali, Prof. Dr. Md. Saleh Jahur, Vice Chairman, IBF, Dr. Tanveer Ahmad, EC Chairman, IBF, Mr. Quamrul Hasan, Prof. Dr. Md. Fasiul Alam, Mr. Showkat Hossain FCA, Barrister ASM Quasem and Mr. Md. Monirul Moula, Member, IBF, among others, attended the program.
In the program, IBF announced the introduction of 2 ventures namely Islami Bank Hospital & Cardiac Centre Mirpur (a sophisticated general & cardiac hospital) and Islami Bank Central Laboratory (a state of art medical laboratory).
Islami Bank Foundation Chairman Prof. Dr. Qazi Shahidul Alam highlighted the facilities of the Central Lab, the first of its kind built to perform all sorts of tests hence reducing the need to send samples abroad.
Dr. Tanveer Ahmad, EC Chairman highlighted the new Cardiac Hospital which was designed to treat mass people at reasonably low cost having all the state of the art medical facilities.
The program highlighted the activities of IBF and its role in the health sector of the country. IBF had treated more than 22 million patients in the last 10 years under its health networks.
The meeting had a presence of good number of renowned doctors of different disciplines, renowned personnel, bankers, prominent media personnel and distinguished guests.
Mentionable, Islami Bank Foundation (IBF) has planned to establish a Cancer Hospital at Karnaphuli EPZ in near future.
